    Hi Mike, I’ll be back in Christchurch at the start of May. I could do something in Christchurch then, but I’m already doing an afternoon event at the WEA (Sat, May 10) on the US civil rights movement, called ‘The Road to Selma’.

    However, I am doing something at the Canterbury University Marxist Society on the Rising at the start of May. I’ll double-check the time/date or, if Thomas is reading this, perhaps he could remind me.

    I’ll be around in Christchurch for about a week and then away again for a couple of months.

    Actually, I’m keen to discuss a few things re Ireland with you, so will email you later off-line.
